I’ve had a great day today with my brother Andy, Heather, George & Fynn. They popped down to London for a few photos, after a couple of hours inside we popped down to Monument, The Thames and the Tower of London for a few more.

Vicky & Shane :: Pre Wedding

Val Thorens 2012 – Photobook

I’ve just got back from an amazing week in the French Alps, les 3 vallees to be more precise.
I’ve just put together a personal photobook documenting the week, and thought I’d share it with you. Most of these images were taken either with the 1D MK IV and 70-200 IS f2.8 L or the new Canon PS 100S. All images were shot in RAW and edited in Aperture.

Duffield House Wedding Promo Brochure

I came home today to a parcel from Duffield House. Upon opening it I discovered that it’s their new Wedding brochure they’ve had produced to promote their Wedding venue.

They’ve used a number of my photos (shot at Vicky & Jon’s Wedding back in August).

Happy New Year

A very happy new year to you all. I’m looking forward to meeting all of 2012′s couples that I have the pleasure of photographing this year. And a big thank you to all of the lovely couples I met and photographed in 2011.

I’m also having another go at my 365 days, 365 photos (a photo a day), after a failed attempt in 2010. I’ve chosen again to host this on facebook (easier to upload from my iPhone). The idea is I take and upload a photo for each and every day of 2012, the photo will most likely be random, but will have some meaning to me, something to remember that particular day by. Check out 2010′s attempt here.

Times Gone By

Christmas is about spending time with family, this year (having brought my Nan & Grandad a Slide Scanner – more on this in another post coming soon) we spent alot of time looking through old photos from the last 100 years.

Drawing inspiration from Dear Photograph I’ve been wanting to try this for a long time. My grandparents house is the last place we still own where we have photos of our family growing. Spending Boxing day their this year I thought it was a great opportunity to give it a shot, so here’s a glimpse into mixing new and old!

Jack Bailey

On the way back down to London from Birmingham after Christmas I took a detour via Northampton to see Matt, Becky & Baby Jack. Jack was born just 4.5 weeks ago. Luckily I had my camera and a couple of lenses in the car, so with very little equipment I snapped a few images of little Jack.
